News of further validation of the state of Victoria’s continued claim to Australia’s defence manufacturing capital. It comes with the announcement of Hanwha Defense Australia opening its new headquarters in Melbourne’s Central Business district. They are part of Hanwha Corporation, which is South Korea’s largest defence company.
As a fellow Melbourne manufacturer, with an increasing proportion of our business within the defence industry, Ronson Gears would like to welcome Hanwha to our great city.

The move by Hanwha is in addition to their announcement, earlier this year, of a $170 million Armoured Vehicle Centre of Excellence at Avalon Airport Industrial Precinct.
