DEFENCE MINISTER CALLS UP AUSTRALIA’S SMALL BUSINESSES

It’s the first step in selected companies being able to pitch their credentials and capabilities to Hanwha Defense Australia and Rheinmetall Defence Australia.
Both companies have been awarded contracts to deliver military vehicles for the Australian Army and want to identify local businesses able to become part of the supply chains.
The companies will be invited to pitch at Land 400 Phase 3 Mounted Close Combat Capability Roadshow.
Land 400 Phase 3 is a $10 – 15 billion program aimed at replacing the M113 Armoured Personnel Carrier. The new range will be better armed, protected and more efficient than current M113s.
