DISCOVERED – NEW LITHIUM RESERVES IN AUSTRALIA

Given the accelerating global demand for Lithium for electric vehicles, phones and laptops, the news of potential new reserves of the rare earth mineral across Australia is great news.

According to this article in australianmanufacturing.com the potential for deposits of the mineral beyond Western Australia has been identified.

A study led by researchers from the University of Sydney reveals potential sites elsewhere. So what other locations in Australia could be home to one of the most sought-after minerals on the planet?

The study identified other potential sites in Australia including Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

These areas show elevated concentrations of Lithium which is obviously great news for the industry and brings the country closer to a low-carbon economy.
