MELBOURNE HAS JUST SHOWCASED THE LATEST IN CYBER SECURITY

The three day event, Cyber Con, was the largest cyber security conference in the Southern Hemisphere. The fact that it attracted around 5,000 people from around the world demonstrates the increasing importance of cyber security, not only for national security but also protecting the integrity and security in the corporate sector.

As the threats become more sophisticated and wide ranging cyber security must develop to combat these. Ronson Gears has always taken Cyber Security very seriously and is well down the path of being NIST 800-171 and CMMC compliant. A lot of time and resources has been dedicated to ensuring critical data is safe for both ourselves and customers.

That’s why events such as Cyber Con are so essential to keep up-to-speed in a constantly evolving environment. So, if you missed the Melbourne event how can you ensure that you have the right policies and technology in place to combat these threats?

Don’t worry, if you missed the event in Melbourne there is another Cyber Con in Canberra between the 17th – 19th March 2025. (You can find reservation details here.)

The theme is ‘Transform to Evolve’. This emphasises the importance for cyber security practices to adapt and innovate in response to the rapidly advancing digital landscape. Now is the time to build the resilience to keep your organisation safe.

The aim of the Australian Cyber Conference 2025 is to do just that. It serves as a catalyst bringing together thought leaders, innovators, policy makers and practitioners to explore cyber security strategies, technologies and policies.
